Camp Comfort was the perfect romantic weekend getaway! Traveling from Austin to here is a less than 2 hour drive, but far enough to unwind and relax. Easy check in and out, with housekeeping available per request. We were headed offsite to grab silverware when the property manager asked if we needed anything and provided us with plates & silverware. He stopped to talk with us and was so kind! The entire staff is amazing here, responsive, and accommodating. Relax in the sauna, hammock, chairs, enjoy the running creek water. They even have a grill and fire pit. In town, we ate Comfort Pizza and La Calabria (live music & best fresh pasta), and also had coffee at Comfort Coffee which is located in an huge antique shop. This is the perfect getaway with Fredericksburg or San Antonio just a quick 30 minute drive away. Highly recommend!

If you are a nature lover this is the place for you! I have driven through Comfort for years and have always wanted to make a stop. I am so glad I found Camp Comfort. I stayed with my dogs in the double queen cabin and it is much bigger than a typical motel/hotel room and well worth the extra expense. Though rustic, It had all the amenities of a hotel room, plus a private porch and everything in the room for grilling my dinner on the grill steps from the cabin. Picture elevated glamping. Every area has fire pits for sitting outside and enjoying the peace and serenity of the hill country. There are also multiple restaurants within half a mile. This was a quick stop on a drive through Texas, but I’m going to be back, next time for more than 1 night!

Enjoyed our stay! It was very peaceful and hassle free!! I enjoyed the quiet outdoors being away from the city. Its about 25 min from fredericksburg, but it is worth the drive. The cabin inside was very clean and nice. I would do this again versus staying in a busy hotel.

Beautiful, fun, well designed place to stay in the quiet town of Comfort with great places to eat and drink near by. Loved being able to use the Sauna. Management was kind enough to show us around the property as well as the adjacent property they own where they have a beautiful pool nestled amongst their historic homes. Was just my wife and I, but would be a great place to host a retreat, events for churches or organizations, as well as weddings where guests can all stay near to eachother. We look forward to visiting again!

I happened upon Camp Comfort while searching for accommodations. We were just passing through the area. I can't say enough about how wonderful this property is. The vibe is amazing and I wish we were staying longer to soak it in. The beds are very comfortable and the room decor spot on. In this contactless age, while we didn't meet any of the staff, the communication was quick and efficient. I highly recommend a stay here.

Woo for Camp Outpost! Absolutely recommend. Great grounds, well designed rooms, comfy bed, great communication. 4/5 stars simply because we didn't have any hot water and didn't get to enjoy a hot shower/the jet tub.

We had a great 2-night stay at Camp Comfort. The king suite was roomy, with a good bed and wonderful shower. We enjoyed a fire outside each evening which was fabulous. It was a great home base for venturing around the area.

This was such a wonderful place to stay! My boyfriend and I came for a long weekend, and it was cute and quiet and so so close to town. We had the pleasure of meeting the property owner, Pete, who showed us around the property and the different cabins. They are all so great and so well taken care of! To top it all off, he personally delivered us a bottle of wine! Such a kind gesture and really made us feel welcome! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cute place to stay!
